RULES
For the safety of the animals and class attendees, we kindly ask that the rules below are followed. It is a privilege to be with these animals so we ask that you treat them with respect. With your cooperation and our guidance, we can create a space that everyone can enjoy:
-
All class participants must take off their shoes and sanitize their hands at the sanitizing station before entering the main yoga area.
-
Do not stand up while holding the animals or walk around holding them. Holding the animal up above you while sitting is also not permitted.
-
Do not disturb the animals if they are sleeping, drinking or eating.
-
Do not force the animal to stay with you- let them move freely and as they choose. If they are squirming, that is an indicator to release them.
-
If an animal makes an accident on your mat or near you during class, simply raise your hand and a staff member will promptly disinfect the area.
-
When playing with the animals, do not tug hard with the toys as they may have fragile teeth.
-
All yoga movements will be done on the ground. There is no balancing on one leg or standing positions. Please be aware of your space when doing any movements.
-
Check your area before doing any movement extensions (the instructor will remind you as they go through the movements as well).
-
Be consciously aware of where you’re stepping and walk slowly and cautiously if you have to get up while in the yoga area with the animals.
-
If you need help with anything else, please ask a staff member. They are onsite to monitor and assist.
