Our Standards
Thoughtfully curated with the well-being of the puppies and kitties at the forefront. Every detail is tailored to ensure their happiness, safety and comfort.
Stress Free Environment
-
Our classes take place in a serene, low-volume space without loud music or amplified voices, ensuring a calming atmosphere for both you and the animals.
-
The puppies and kitties are the boss! We believe in letting the animals dictate their level of participation. There is no pressure put on them; they engage as much or as little as they feel comfortable. Our staff members will consistently do wellness checks throughout their time with us to ensure they are having a pleasant experience. Our goal is for every animal to leave our classes with a newfound sense of confidence, love and zen!
-
We limit our class frequency to only 2-3 sessions on event day, as well as limiting the length of the classes to 45 minutes, with long 1 hour breaks in between, in order to ensure they are never overwhelmed or stressed.
Cleanliness
Our venue is meticulously cleaned and disinfected with proper antibacterial and vet-grade cleaning products before, during if needed, and after each session for a germ free space.
Socialization, NOT sales
Our classes focus on socialization and we are NOT sales based in any capacity. Unlike some other companies, we do not facilitate the sales of animals nor do we take any form of commission, period. Our classes are dedicated to helping animals build confidence and grow into well-rounded adults through gentle exposure to new people, activities, and handling.
Appropriate ages
All the animals are required to be at least 8 weeks old.
Screening Process
We thoroughly vet the breeders we work with, ensuring they uphold the highest ethical standards. This includes, but is not limited to, practicing responsible breeding (limited litters, genetic testing, early training), maintaining a healthy/clean/enriching/loving environment, and having a solid reputation with positive reviews. We NEVER use animals from puppy mills, backyard breeders or negligent breeders. To ensure this, we visit the breeder’s home if nearby or conduct virtual interviews. We selectively choose breeders who are deeply passionate, nurturing and knowledgable about their animals. A handful of the breeders we work with often raise dogs that go on to become service animals, working K9’s or therapy animals. For rescues, we work with established local rescues.
Pet ownership comes with great responsibility. We require the breeders and rescues to have a pre-screening application process for interested parties to facilitate a successful, appropriate, long-lasting match.
Breeder’s are also required to have comprehensive, contractual agreement in place for their buyers, outlining responsibilities and commitments that prioritize the life-long welfare of the animals that must be followed.
